INSTRUCTOR/ASSISTANT BARN MANAGER
Position requires a combination of teaching beginner lessons, stable management duties and riding. The work week runs 5-6 days. You must truly enjoy and have experience teaching both children and adult beginner riders. You will have daily interaction with the public, so an outgoing personality is a must. Stable management duties include riding, vet work (knowledge of IM & IV a plus, but not mandatory), making feeds, and assisting the vets and farriers.
Non-smokers only. Sorry, no small pets allowed in residences. GREAT job for equine school graduates!
Our 40-acre facility includes three indoor arenas and two outdoor arenas. We house as many as 70 horses and employ approximately 30 people. Many of our employees live on the premises in rent-free, semi-private housing. This position pays hourly wages with rent-free housing (utilities not included). PART-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE/FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST
Our busy lesson, boarding, and show facility needs a horse-world knowledgeable person with excellent customer service skills to join our office staff. Days and hours are Monday-Friday, 4:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Duties include answering phones, registering and checking in clients for lessons, taking and processing payments, etc. Must be friendly, outgoing, good with the public, detail-oriented, and a team player. Knowledge of MS Word and Excel a must. Must be a non-smoker. Pay commensurate with experience. Please send resume to [email protected].
