On-Site, Full-Time, Riding Instructor/Asst. Barn Manager - 2 positions available

#1 - Beginner riding instructor - for first time riders through beginning canter

#2 - Intermediate/Advanced riding instructor - for riders who are already cantering


Both positions require teaching, riding, assisting with feeds, vet work, the farrier, clipping, trimming, and help at horse shows, etc. 5-6 days per week. No mucking. On-site, semi-private, rent-free housing (will consider hiring someone who lives off-site). Free board for one personally owned horse. Send resume to: [email protected].



Camp Director/Assistant Camp Director for Summer 2023 - 2 positions available

Experienced equestrians needed to supervise, coordinate counselors, and teach riding and stable management topics to children 7 years and older during our 9-week summer camp program. Serious inquiries only. Must be at least 18 years of age. Continued full-time employment as a riding instructor is possible for the right person after the camp season is over. Camp Counselors for Summer Camp 2023

Must be at least 16 years of age and have previous experience with the Potomac Horse Center. You can work weekends or after school now, to get the experience you need before summer! Supervise and assist campers as they ride, groom, tack, bathe horses, and learn and practice stable management topics, under the direction of the Camp Director, Assistant Camp Director, and riding instructors. Weekend Aisle Staff

Must be at least 14 years of age. Some experience preferred, but willing to train. Saturday and/or Sunday 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., half or full day. Must be at least 14 years old. Office Staff

Monday-Friday, 1:00-6:00 p.m. Must have some horse-world knowledge (adult clients & parents are easily trained!). Answer phones, interact with clients, process paperwork. Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word. Pay commensurate with experience. Send resume to: [email protected].
